Heather Benedict 6/30/25 10:55 AM It’s good to see the Council confirming Mr. Gant before he steps in as Human Services Director. However, Julie Murray has been serving as Pierce County Superior Court Clerk without Council confirmation for months. The same confirmation process should apply to all department leaders. Consistency builds trust and accountability. Please bring Julie Murray’s appointment to a confirmation vote and do your job.
