Heather Benedict 6/10/25 2:33 PM While I support Mr. Mackey’s reappointment to the Frederickson Land Use Advisory Commission, I urge this Council to hold the same standard of oversight for internal county offices—particularly the Clerk of the Superior Court. Important court orders in my family’s probate case have disappeared, and the interim Clerk has not been confirmed or publicly held accountable. As a citizen impacted by this lack of oversight, I respectfully request the Council give equal attention to transparency and appointment processes for positions that directly affect the public’s legal rights.
