Ryan Holland 11/20/24 5:30 PM I would ask that all members of the county council support this resolution. Natural gas is clean burning and is a needed resource when electrification fails due to windstorms and down power lines. Over 230,000 people in Pierce County among the 1,931,000 voted in support of keeping natural gas which is 51% of the 3,730,000 votes counted in Washington state. Please vote in support of this resolution. Thank you.
John Leslie 11/21/24 11:27 AM Finally a resolution to support! The people have spoken on this and its time to align with the will of the people. All of the struggles for "affordable housing" are exacerbated by the heavy hand of government regulation and restricting the use of natural gas plays a large role in elevating costs. The burden of these impacts is felt most by low income population and is certainly not "equitable" Please vote YES!
