Chuck Sundsmo 9/7/22 12:02 PM Restrictions on firearm discharge should not only be released on the Mt. View Dairy (MVD)property, it should be released on all rural Pierce County private properties. I have lived within 300' of MVD for over 30 years. The sound of gunfire has never been an issue. The right to protect private property by any means should not be infringed.
William Buchanan 9/13/22 9:10 AM I was a committee member on the Firearms Advisory Council several years ago when we were tasked by the council to review parcels covered by no-shooting zones. The particular parcel in question today is rural, surrounded by rural properties, and I can see no reason to include it in a no-shooting zone. Conversely, opening this area to shooting would benefit the community and farm owners by mitigating destruction. Please vote in favor.
