Title: A Resolution of the Pierce County Council Related to the Anchoring, Rafting and Drifting of Vessels on Lake Tapps; Requesting the Boating Advisory Commission to Conduct a Review of the Scope and Effectiveness of the Regulatory Requirements for Such Activities Set Forth in Section 8.88.460 of the Pierce County Code and Other Related Code Provisions; and Requesting the Boating Advisory Commission to Forward Any Recommendations Regarding the Same to the Council by a Date Certain.

Scotty B White 1/6/16 2:53 PM I feel as a waterfront property owner and boat owner who has lived in the area since 1966 I think the rafting restrictions are rediculous and prohibit people from fully enjoying the lake as they would like to... I feel as though a reasonable limit of maybe 3 or 4 watercraft rafting together is fair and just. Heck you can't even raft a jetski to a boat right now.. It would be much more prudent to set noise limits and easily enforced by the law enforcement... I really want this rafting law modified...
