Heather Benedict 5/30/25 6:31 PM Before investing further in long-range commute planning, Pierce County must address the million-dollar gaps in transparency and accountability—like the recent payout to an unelected Superior Court Clerk. Voters deserve representation before bureaucratic expansion. Let’s fix the foundation first.
Heather Benedict 6/1/25 5:28 PM The People of the County need to come together to Make the Clerk Elected Again - we can prevent government waste like $1 million to a corrupt, unelected clerk who created a hostile environment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMjLIKtDPo4 Please sign my petition to send County Council a message: https://www.change.org/p/make-pierce-county-clerk-an-elected-position-again
Heather Benedict 6/3/25 7:10 PM Executive Ryan Mello Knew but Ignored court orders disappearing from the clerk's office, rather than take action, paid $1 million to the Clerk to silently leave. That's a lot of county money wasted under Mello's mismanaged leadership. Music Video: Mello Knew, Mello Ignored: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VykZ0R1fG8Q
Kandy Morgan 6/7/25 8:22 AM please vote no. Thank you.
Heather Benedict 6/14/25 10:29 PM I spoke out three times. Others did too. Council ignored us. You passed a long-range commute plan while refusing to address a $1 million payout to a corrupt, unelected Clerk. No answers. No accountability. Ryan Mello knew court orders disappeared — and paid her to go away. We won’t forget. — Heather Benedict https://cabomama.com
