Larry Volland (SWCA) 2/11/17 12:23 PM The Summit-Waller Community Association has a long record of addressing the issue of illegal fireworks and their effects on our community and the rest of the county. We feel that the ability of law enforcement deputies to write a civil infraction ticket to citizens who choose to break the law and discharge illegal fireworks is a big step in the right direction. It will not only provide a deterrent factor but also improve the quality of life for citizens in the county especially those citizens in the rural areas of Pierce County. This legislation, in our opinion, is long overdue. We ask that you pass this legislation into law. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this important proposal.
